This day, we did some final versions of the prototype and showed them to each other. We decided to combine the prototypes, that each of us created and decided to refine the prototype more on the next day. We decided to go for a more of a modular system, which can be adapted to anyone’s needs. The final prototype and the process of the feedback rounds we still have to specify, but otherwise we are on a good pace.

Day 23: Wednesday, 26.04.2023

Since we only had the afternoon on wednesday, we chose to discuss the guidelines for the prototype, since the prototype is very flexible to work with. We also split the tasks, two of us being responsible for the prototype and the other two being responsible for the narration. We also decided to do regular check ins, so that everyone can add their feedback to the prototype and the narration.

Day 24: Thursday, 27.04.2023

This day, Lu and Laberi focused on the narration. They explored, what kind of message they want to tell with the video and defined some catch phrases.

Laberi went by the defined catch phrases with her approach and chose to make some frames, that show the catch phrases. Lu went a bit experimental with his approach. He based his video on the song “Another Brick in the Wall” by Pink Floyd, where the video would be responding to the things the children are saying. Lu also went on to do a presentation with an AI, to gain some inspiration for the video and to see different approaches on how the tool can be presented.

Here is the link to the generated presentation:

Jin and Jeanne worked on the prototype and tried to incorporate the sandwich method into our feedback framework. They defined the process and guidelines and brainstormed about the different possible usage situations for the tool. For example, they also brainstormed about how this tool could be used in elementary school, and tried to simplify it in that way.

Jeanne and Jin introduced a prototype with the theme of space,. We all were very happy with what they achieved that afternoon.

Lu also showed us the first prototype of the app.
