We went to the Propädeutikum to observe the class setting, to reenact it afterwards in the bodystorming.
The teacher was repeating himself trying to encourage people to make questions even thought the task was clear. Maybe students could give a feedback “its clear to us” or “we got it”. He did not get feedback, neither did he get attention from most of students, so he asked them three times if they have any questions or if they understood.
Group dynamics were very obvious. Some students were very communicative, others were more isolated and not engaging with groups.
Only one student from 14 students asked a question, when asked. One student asked the teacher after he explained the task. We gave eachother the task to sketch out some prototypes until tomorrow and then discuss them with eachother.
This day was all about finding the specific questions, that we want to build prototypes from. We narrowed the subjects down to speaker and listener role, feedback, safe space and group dynamics. We gave eachother the task to sketch out and create some first prototypes.
